Biography
Pierre-Jean Larroque is a French costume designer. He trained at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse and the ENSATT (formerly the Centre de la rue Blanche) in Paris, and began working in film and theatre as an assistant to designers including Dominique Borg and Franca Squarciapino.
He has designed costumes for numerous French films and television productions, including A Tale of Winter (1992) directed by Éric Rohmer, Lautrec (1998), The Lady and the Duke (2001), Arsène Lupin (2004), the series Napoléon (2002), Little Nicholas (2009), The Round Up (2010), Benedetta (2021) and Lost Illusions (2021). He has received four César Awards for best costumes and one Primetime Emmy Award.
