Biography
Pierre Klossowski was a French actor, writer and philosopher. He appeared as the Merchant in Robert Bresson's Au Hasard Balthazar (1966). He also acted in Roberte (1979), playing Octave.
Klossowski was born in Paris in 1905 and died there in 2001. He was the brother of the painter Balthus. Primarily known for his novels, essays and philosophical works, he contributed to several films as a writer or participant, including L'Hypothèse du tableau volé (1978).
