Biography
Pierre Lazareff was a French producer. He is credited, often uncredited, as a producer on Jacques Demy's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964).
A press figure and owner of the newspaper France-Soir, Lazareff supported the project by assisting his collaborator Mag Bodard of Parc Films. He helped secure financing and later aided distribution through his media connections.
