Biography
Pietro Biondi is an Italian actor and voice actor. Born on 13 October 1939 in Spoleto, he has worked in film, television and theatre since the 1970s.
His film credits include Three Brothers (1981) as the first judge, Giovanni Falcone (1993), The Embalmer (2002) and Il Divo (2008) as Francesco Cossiga. On television he has appeared in Inspector Montalbano (from 1999) as Questore Burlando and in Suburra: Blood on Rome (2017–2019) as Cardinale Pascagni. He is also known for extensive voice-dubbing work, including Dennis Franz in NYPD Blue and Alan Dale in The O.C..
Biondi was married to actress and voice actress Rita Di Lernia from 1970 until her death in 2025.
