Biography
Quim Gutiérrez is a Spanish actor. Born Joaquim Gutiérrez Ylla on 27 March 1981 in Barcelona, he made his television debut at the age of 12 in the Catalan series Poblenou. He later studied Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University and trained at the Nancy Tuñón theatre school in Barcelona, before appearing in the series El cor de la ciutat.
Gutiérrez won the Goya Award for Best New Actor for his performance in Azuloscurocasinegro (2006). He has appeared in films including Cousinhood (2011), The Hidden Face (2011), The Last Days (2013), Spy Time (2015), Advantages of Travelling by Train (2019), I Love You, Stupid (2020) and Jungle Cruise (2021). He plays Santi in Pedro Almodóvar's Bitter Christmas (2026).
