Biography
Quinton Peeples is an American screenwriter, producer and director. Born in San Angelo, Texas and raised in Abilene, he earned an MFA from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. His graduate thesis projects became the feature An Ambush of Ghosts (1993), which premiered at Sundance, and the television film A Heart Full of Rain.
Peeples wrote and directed the feature Joyride (1997). He later moved into television, working on series including FlashForward (2009), Unforgettable (2011–2014), The Last Ship (2014) as writer and producer, 11.22.63 (2016) and Marvel’s Runaways (2017–2019). He served as showrunner on the Netflix limited series Echoes (2022). He is also the author of the graphic novel The Big Country.
