Biography
Rachel Sweet is an American television writer and producer. Born in Akron, Ohio, she attended Columbia University. She began her writing career in the late 1990s after earlier work as a singer and actress.
Sweet wrote for and produced the ABC series Sports Night (1998–1999). Her other credits include writing and producing roles on Dharma & Greg (1997–2002), George Lopez (2002–2004), Hot in Cleveland (2011–2015), 2 Broke Girls (2011–2016) and The Goldbergs (2013–2019). She is married to television writer and producer Tom Palmer.
