Biography
Raffaele Curi is an Italian actor, director and playwright. Born in Ancona in 1948, he trained at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico in Rome. He made his screen debut in 1970 as Ernesto, fratello di Giorgio in Vittorio De Sica's The Garden of the Finzi-Continis.
Curi appeared in later films including The Cat (1977), Il... Belpaese (1977), Scherzi da prete (1978) and Impiegati (1985). He has also worked as artistic director of the Fondazione Alda Fendi, producing avant-garde installations and performances, and has collaborated with the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.
