Biography
Ralph Baum (4 October 1908 – 1 October 1987) was a German-born French film producer and production manager. He began his career in Berlin in the late 1920s, working as an assistant to directors including Max Ophüls, before emigrating to France in 1933 following the rise of the Nazis.
Baum's credits as production manager or producer include several films directed by Ophüls, among them La Ronde (1950) and The Earrings of Madame de... (1953). He also directed three or four feature films in the 1950s. His work in French cinema continued into the 1980s.
