Biography
Konidela Ram Charan, also known as Ram Charan Teja, is an Indian actor, film producer and entrepreneur who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Born on 27 March 1985 in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, he is the son of actor Chiranjeevi. He made his feature-film debut in the action film Chirutha (2007), for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South.
Charan gained prominence with S. S. Rajamouli's Magadheera (2009), in which he played dual roles, and later starred in films including Rangasthalam (2018) and RRR (2022), portraying Alluri Sitarama Raju in the latter. He has won multiple Filmfare Awards for Best Actor – Telugu and received a nomination for Best Actor in an Action Movie at the Critics' Choice Super Awards for his performance in RRR.
