Biography
Ramón Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican actor. He was born on 20 December 1979 in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He attended New York City Lab School for Collaborative Studies and The Leelanau School, played basketball at Wheeling Jesuit University, and earned a degree in sports marketing from New York University.
Rodríguez began his career in 2005. His early television roles included Renaldo on The Wire (2006–2008). In film he appeared as Leo Spitz in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Delgado in The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009), William Martinez in Battle: Los Angeles (2011), and Joe Peck in Need for Speed (2014). He played Bakuto in the Marvel series Iron Fist (2017) and The Defenders (2017), and Benjamin Cruz in The Affair (2018–2019).
Since 2023 Rodríguez has starred as the title character in the ABC series Will Trent.
