Biography
Rance Ward is a writer whose credits include an episode of the FX series The Drop: A Snowfall Saga (2026), a spin-off of Snowfall, and staff writer duties on the Apple TV+ series Imperfect Women (2026).
A Black drama writer from Rancho Cucamonga, California, Ward holds a BA in Film and Playwriting from Howard University and an MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California. He previously served as showrunner’s assistant and script coordinator on Star Trek: Prodigy, and held production and assistant roles on projects including Black Love and at studios such as Warner Bros. and Will Packer Productions.
