Biography
Randy McDowell is an American actor, producer and writer. Born on 2 July 1977 in Warsaw, Indiana, he made his mainstream screen debut as Gene Smith in the 2005 CBS/Showtime miniseries Elvis.
His film credits include an uncredited role as Lt. Randy Hudson in Paranormal Activity (2007), the Boost Mobile Clerk in One Missed Call (2008), Jules Reiner in Dance of the Dead (2008), Harry Houdini in the "Dante the Great" segment of V/H/S: Viral (2014), Hank in Moms' Night Out (2014), Elliott in Siren (2016) and Jim in I Can Only Imagine (2018). He has also appeared in television series including Justified and Hightown, and has worked as a producer and writer on projects such as Down River (2025).
