Biography
Ravi Basrur is an Indian music composer, sound designer, lyricist and director who works primarily in Kannada cinema. He began his career as a music programmer before debuting as composer with Ugramm (2014).
He is known for his long collaboration with director Prashanth Neel, scoring K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018), K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022), Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023) and other films. His credits also include Marco (2024) and Singham Again (2024). Basrur has directed several films, among them Girmit.
