Biography
Ravi Naik is a British solicitor specialising in data protection, privacy and human rights. He is Legal Director and co-founder of the data rights agency AWO, and was previously a partner and head of the public law department at ITN Solicitors.
Naik acted for Professor David Carroll in landmark legal actions against Cambridge Analytica and related entities concerning political profiling and data rights. His work featured in the 2019 Netflix documentary The Great Hack, in which he appears as Self – Data Rights Solicitor, and in the 2020 documentary Coded Bias. He was named the Law Society’s Human Rights Lawyer of the Year for 2018–2019.
