Biography
Raymond Meunier was a French actor. He was born on 15 January 1920 in Fontainebleau, Seine-et-Marne, and died on 17 June 2010 in Puilboreau, Charente-Maritime.
Meunier appeared in more than thirty films between 1947 and 2005. His best-known role was as Vossellin, also called Monseigneur, in Jacques Becker's Le Trou (1960). He also played Mr Brochard in One Deadly Summer (1983), the cook in The Truth (1960), Allister in Last Known Address (1970), Henri Souchon in The Seventh Juror (1962), and "La Douane" in Dandelions by the Roots (1964).
He had recurring work with directors such as Georges Lautner and appeared in television series including Thibaud ou les Croisades.
