Biography
Raymond Thiry is a Dutch actor. He began working in theatre in 1987 with the group Alex d'Electrique and has appeared in more than eighty films since 1994.
Thiry received a Golden Calf nomination for best actor for his role in Langer Licht (2006). He won the Golden Calf for best supporting actor for Winter in Wartime (2008) and again in 2015 for Bloed, zweet & tranen. His credits include the series Penoza (as Luther), Undercover and the film Ferry (both as John Zwart), The Resistance Banker (2018) and Quo Vadis, Aida? (2020) as Sergeant-major Franken.
