Biography
Razelle Benally is an Oglala Lakota and Diné film director and writer. She holds a BFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts and completed an MFA in film production at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Benally wrote for the AMC series Dark Winds (2022). She co-directed the Showtime docuseries Murder in Big Horn (2023), which premiered at Sundance. Her earlier short films include Raven (2016) and I Am Thy Weapon (2016).
