Biography
Reinout Bussemaker is a Dutch actor born in 1959 in Leiden. He studied for a year at the Toneelschool Maastricht before graduating from the drama school in Arnhem in 1986.
He is known for his role as the first husband in Paul Verhoeven's The 4th Man (1983). Other credits include Antonia's Line (1995) as Simon, Cool Kids Don't Cry (2012) as Akkie's father, and Quo Vadis, Aida? (2021) as Colonel doctor Robben. In 1993 he had a leading role in the Dutch television series Diamant, the local version of Dynasty.
Bussemaker is the father of actor Hunter Bussemaker.
