Biography
René Bergeron (also credited as Bergeron, B. Bergeron or R. Bergeron) was a French stage and film actor. He began his screen career in 1929 with Le Capitaine Fracasse and appeared in numerous supporting roles during the 1930s and early 1940s.
His credits include Wooden Crosses (1932), Pépé le Moko (1937) as Meunier, Hôtel du Nord (1938) as Maltaverne, Daybreak (1939) and Stormy Waters (1941). His work was interrupted after the Second World War owing to collaboration; he resumed acting in the 1950s and made his final film appearance in 1958. He also worked in television in the early 1960s.
