Biography
René Havard was a French actor and screenwriter. He was born on 20 December 1923 in Paris and died there on 7 December 1987.
He appeared in around eighty films between 1946 and 1985, including as Inspector Morin in Bob le Flambeur (1956), Bussière in The Cow and I (1959), Loiseau in Line of Demarcation (1966), and Fernand in Lost Command (1966). He also wrote screenplays, among them Taxi for Tobruk (1961), adapted from his own novel.
