Biography
René Worms was a French actor. Born Charles René Worms on 14 April 1890 in Brussels, he was the son of actor Paul Worms. He began performing on stage at the age of 17 and appeared in his first films in the early 1920s.
Worms appeared in numerous supporting roles and uncredited parts across more than four decades of French cinema. His credits include Crainquebille (1922), Orphée (1950) as a judge, Le Passe-muraille (1951), Les Bijoux de Madame de... (1953) and Le Trou normand (1952). He also worked in theatre and received the Médaille interalliée 1914-1918. He was deported during the Second World War and resumed acting after returning in 1945. Worms died on 15 July 1962 in Paris.
