Biography
Rhatha Phongam is a Thai actress and singer. Born in Bangkok on 19 May 1983, she is the daughter of comedian Noi Phongam.
She began her career in music, releasing a debut album at the age of 16, and later moved into acting. Her early film roles include Jan Dara: The Beginning (2012) and The Protector 2 (2013).
Phongam is known internationally for playing Mai in Nicolas Winding Refn's Only God Forgives (2013). Other credits include Mechanic: Resurrection (2016), Lupin the 3rd (2014) and Fistful of Vengeance (2022). She holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Bangkok University.
