Biography
Ricardo Navarrete is a Spanish cinematographer and camera operator. He worked extensively in the camera department on international productions filmed in Spain during the 1960s to 1980s, including as camera operator on Conan the Barbarian (1982), Solarbabies (1986), Who Can Kill a Child? (1976) and Guns of the Magnificent Seven (1969).
Navarrete has also received director of photography credits on several films, among them Extraterrestrial Visitors (1983), Roots of Evil (1979) and the 1992 completion of Orson Welles’s Don Quixote.
