Biography
Rick Dunkle is an American television writer and producer. Born on 24 October 1978, he earned a B.A. in Cinema & Television Production from Columbia College Hollywood in 2002 after earlier studies in broadcast journalism and theatre. He began his career in television as script coordinator on the pilot episode of Criminal Minds in 2005.
Dunkle wrote numerous episodes of Criminal Minds from 2009 to 2015, including story and teleplay credits, and served as producer or co-producer on the series from 2012 to 2015. He later worked as supervising producer on the spin-off Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (2016) and as consulting producer and writer on Deputy (2020).
