Biography
Rick Vick was a British film editor, journalist, writer and poet. He is credited as editor, alongside Richard M. Lewis, on the 1992 documentary Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer, directed by Nick Broomfield. He also edited Broomfield’s 1994 documentary Tracking Down Maggie: The Unofficial Biography of Margaret Thatcher and worked on Juvenile Liaison 2 (1990).
Vick contributed to research and writing on Broomfield’s 2019 film Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love. Known as the “Poet of Stroud”, he taught poetry and writing in prisons and rehabilitation centres in Gloucestershire. He died in December 2019 in Stroud, aged 71.
