Biography
Rikke Asbjoern is an animator, writer and creator. She wrote one episode of the animated series The Amazing World of Gumball (2016).
She is co-creator, writer, director and executive producer of the Netflix/Nickelodeon series Pinky Malinky (2018–2019), for which she received an Annie nomination for Best Writing, and of the interactive Netflix film We Lost Our Human (2023). She is head of story on the forthcoming film Bad Fairies.
Asbjoern was born in the north of Denmark and studied at the Animation Workshop in Viborg from 1997.
