Biography
Riley Dufurrena is an American television writer and script coordinator. He graduated from San Diego State University’s Television, Film and New Media program in 2013.
Dufurrena began his career as a writer’s assistant and production assistant on the ABC sitcom The Middle (2014–2018). He joined Abbott Elementary (2021–) as script coordinator in its first season and advanced to staff writer, story editor and executive story editor, with writing credits on multiple episodes. He also co-wrote and directed the 2013 short film Corollary.
