Biography
Rob Savage is an English filmmaker. Born in July 1992 in Shrewsbury, he began his career making short films and commercials. At the age of 19 he wrote, directed, produced and edited the low-budget drama Strings (2012), which won the Raindance Award at the British Independent Film Awards.
Savage gained wider recognition for his horror films. He directed and co-wrote Host (2020) and Dashcam (2021). He has also directed episodes of the series Britannia (2019) and Soulmates (2020). His studio feature The Boogeyman (2023), an adaptation of a Stephen King short story, marked a shift to larger-scale production.
