Biography
Rob van Vuuren is a South African actor, comedian, presenter, theatre maker and writer. Born Robert Craig Jansen van Vuuren on 26 March 1976 in Port Elizabeth (now Gqeberha), he graduated with a Drama degree from Rhodes University in 1997.
He played The Devil in the 2008 Channel 4 series The Devil's Whore. Other screen roles include Swackhammer in Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018), Russ Thorne in Slumber Party Massacre (2021), King Seki in the series ONE PIECE (2023), and voice work in Khumba (2013) and Seal Team (2021). He has appeared in South African productions including Queen Sono (2020) and received Fleur du Cap nominations for theatre performances.
