Biography
Robert Berens is a television writer and producer. He joined the writing staff of Supernatural in season 9 as a writer and story editor, later serving as supervising producer, co-executive producer and executive producer on the series' final season. He wrote numerous episodes and co-wrote the backdoor pilot for the unproduced spin-off Wayward Sisters.
Berens previously wrote for the series Ringer and the animated show Kappa Mikey (credited as Bob Berens). He contributed as a writer and consulting producer to Doom Patrol and served as executive producer and co-showrunner on the 2021 reboot of Kung Fu, for which he also wrote episodes. He is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College.
