Biography
Robert Duncan (born 27 July 1952) is an English actor. He is best known for playing Gus Hedges, the jargon-speaking manager, in the Channel 4 sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey (1990–1998).
He trained as a journalist before studying acting at LAMDA and made his television debut in the 1980 ITV series For Maddie with Love. Duncan has appeared in Casualty as Peter Hayes (1995–1996) and voiced Lazarus in the animated film The Miracle Maker (2000). On radio he plays Scumspawn in BBC Radio 4’s Old Harry’s Game.
