Biography
Robert H. Solo was an American film producer. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, he began his career as an agent before taking executive roles at 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros., including vice-president for European production and executive vice-president in charge of worldwide production.
He produced Scrooge (1970) and The Devils (1971), the latter co-produced with Ken Russell. After returning to independent producing in the late 1970s, his credits included Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Bad Boys (1983), Colors (1988), Body Snatchers (1993) and Blue Sky (1994). Solo died in 2018.
