Biography
Robert F. Hughes (born Robert Forrest Hughes, 16 October 1961) is an American television director and producer. He began directing in the early 1990s on Nickelodeon series including Rocko's Modern Life and The Angry Beavers, the latter of which earned him a World Animation Celebration award for best director of a daytime series.
Hughes joined Disney Television Animation in 2006 as a producer and director on Phineas and Ferb (2007), where he also wrote episodes and co-wrote songs. He directed the 2011 film Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension and later worked as producer and director on Milo Murphy's Law (2016). His other credits include Bunnicula, Tom and Jerry in New York and various retakes and timing roles on series such as Family Guy and Krapopolis. He has received multiple Emmy nominations for his work on Phineas and Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law.
