Biography
Robert Osterloh (31 May 1918 – 16 April 2001) was an American actor. He began his career in stock theatre after high school in Pittsburgh and made his film debut in The Dark Past (1948). Over the next twenty years he appeared in supporting roles in films including White Heat (1949) as Ryley, Gun Crazy (1950), The Wild One (1953), Riot in Cell Block 11 (1954), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) and Coogan's Bluff (1968).
Osterloh featured in the pilots for the television series Perry Mason (1957) and The Untouchables (1959), and made guest appearances in programmes such as Bonanza, Ironside and Hec Ramsey. He was married to Harriet Hughes.
