Biography
Robert Phillips was an American film and television actor. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on 10 April 1925, he died on 5 November 2018.
Before acting, Phillips served in the US Marine Corps, played professional football for the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins, and worked as a police officer and personal bodyguard. He began his screen career in the 1950s and appeared in films including The Dirty Dozen (1967), The Killers (1964), Cat Ballou (1965), Mackenna's Gold (1969), The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976) as Phil, and The Car (1977). He also had guest roles in numerous television series such as Mission: Impossible, Kung Fu and Batman.
