Biography
Robert Smith is an American screenwriter and producer. His film credits include the screenplay for Sudden Fear (1952), co-written with Lenore J. Coffee; 99 River Street (1953); Quicksand (1950); and I Walk Alone (1947). He also received story or screenplay credits on Invasion, U.S.A. (1952) and St. Louis Blues (1958).
Smith contributed to several television series in the 1950s and 1960s, including episodes of Science Fiction Theatre, Sea Hunt, Maverick, Ripcord and Daktari. In 1996 he wrote a screenplay for an episode of the British series A Touch of Frost.
