Biography
Robert Turturice (1949–2009) was an American costume designer whose career spanned four decades in film and television. Born in Berkeley, California, he studied production design at the Pasadena Playhouse before focusing on costumes. He served as president of the Costume Designers Guild from 1992 to 1996.
Turturice received a Primetime Emmy Award in 1987 for his work on the series Moonlighting. His film credits include Batman & Robin (1997), Gia (1998), The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000), Turbulence (1997), Big Top Pee-wee (1988) and Clean and Sober (1988). He was inducted posthumously into the Costume Designers Hall of Fame in 2010.
