Biography
Robert Vattier (2 October 1906 – 9 December 1982) was a French actor. He appeared in many films by Marcel Pagnol, including Marius (1931), Fanny (1932) and César (1936) as Monsieur Brun, and The Baker's Wife (1938) as the priest.
Born in Rennes, Vattier trained at the Conservatoire before working in theatre and then cinema. He was the brother of actress Nicole Vattier and the father of actress Bérangère Vattier. He also wrote an autobiography.
