Biography
Robert Worley is a British costume designer. Born on 18 August 1955 in Brentwood, Essex, he has worked in the costume department since the 1980s, initially in assistant and supervisory roles on numerous period films and television productions.
He received lead costume design credit on The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019), co-designing with Suzie Harman. The film’s costumes earned a British Independent Film Award and a Satellite Award. Worley has also served as assistant costume designer on films including The Wolfman (2010) and The Phoenician Scheme (2025), and designed for one episode of the series History of a Pleasure Seeker (2022). He has received Primetime Emmy nominations for his work.
