Biography
Robia Rashid (born 30 July 1977) is an American television writer, producer and showrunner. She graduated with an MFA in dramatic writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2005, having earlier earned an undergraduate degree in education.
Her early writing credits include an episode of the final season of Will & Grace (2006). From 2008 to 2012 she worked on How I Met Your Mother, advancing from story editor to co-producer and supervising producer while writing several episodes. Rashid created and served as showrunner of the Netflix series Atypical (2017–2021), for which she also wrote and directed episodes. She has written for The Goldbergs (2014) and Camp (2013).
