Biography
Robyn Hitchcock is an English actor and musician. Born on 3 March 1953 in Paddington, London, he is credited as an actor in Jonathan Demme's The Manchurian Candidate (2004), playing Laurent Tokar, and Rachel Getting Married (2008), as a wedding guest.
Primarily a singer-songwriter and guitarist, Hitchcock came to prominence in the late 1970s with the band The Soft Boys before pursuing a solo career. He has also contributed music to several films and collaborated with Demme on the 1998 concert documentary Storefront Hitchcock.
He is the son of science fiction writer Raymond Hitchcock.
