Biography
Roger Dwyre (1913–2005) was a French film editor. He worked in the French film industry from the mid-1940s until the mid-1970s and also edited several American-financed productions shot in Europe.
Dwyre edited Forbidden Games (1952) for René Clément. He collaborated repeatedly with director Jules Dassin on films including Rififi (1955), Never on Sunday (1960), Phaedra (1962) and Topkapi (1964). Other notable credits include The Damned (1947), Paris Blues (1961) and Triple Cross (1966). He also served as associate producer on some Dassin projects.
