Biography
Roger Gaillard was a French actor. He was born on 17 April 1893 in Salon-de-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhône, and died on 22 February 1970 in Bourg-la-Reine, Hauts-de-Seine.
He began his career on stage and was a pensionnaire at the Comédie-Française from 1916 to 1924. Gaillard appeared in films from the early 1930s, including the role of Adjutant Alexis Godard in Jean Renoir's La Chienne (1931). He is also known for playing Gerard's Uncle in Les Enfants terribles (1950).
