Biography

Romain Lacourbas is a French cinematographer. Born in Paris on 19 June 1977, he graduated from the École Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle (ESRA) in 2001. He began his career as a camera assistant, including work with Pierre Aïm, before becoming director of photography on features.

His credits include Et toi t'es sur qui? (2007), Colombiana (2011), Taken 2 (2012), The November Man (2014), Remi, Nobody's Boy (2018), Ballerina (2025) and Néro the Assassin (2025). Television work encompasses both seasons of Marco Polo (2014–2016), ZeroZeroZero (2020) and episodes of The Witcher (2021). He is a member of the AFC and the ASC.
