Biography
Ron Pardo is a Canadian actor and comedian. Born in Chatham, Ontario, he studied radio and television at Ryerson University in Toronto and later education at the University of Western Ontario. He worked as a teacher for twelve years before turning to comedy full time in the mid-1990s.
Pardo is best known for his voice work on the animated series PAW Patrol (2013–present), in which he has voiced Cap'n Turbot since the first episode and later added Mayor Humdinger. He has reprised both roles in the feature films PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021), PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (2023) and PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie (2026). On camera he is noted for his celebrity impressions on the sketch series History Bites (1998–2008). Other credits include Hairspray (2007) and Undercover Brother (2002).
