Biography
Ronit Asheri is an Israeli actress. She was born on 18 June 1975 in Kfar Saba and trained at the Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts in Tel Aviv, graduating in 2001.
Asheri worked extensively in Yiddish theatre, appearing with the Yiddishpiel company from 2004 to 2017 and later with New Yiddish Rep in New York, where she has lived since 2017. She is known for playing Malka Schwarz in the Netflix series Unorthodox (2020) and Bella Chagall in Transatlantic (2023). She is married to actor Gera Sandler.
