Biography
Rosette, born Françoise Quéré on 6 September 1959 in Cherbourg, France, is a French actress, director, writer and producer. She began her career in the late 1970s and is known for her recurring roles in films by Éric Rohmer, including Louisette in Pauline at the Beach (1983), Françoise in The Green Ray (1986) and the Sister in A Tale of Winter (1992). Other credits include Hélène in Exploits of a Young Don Juan (1986) and Rose in Diary of a Chambermaid (2015).
She has also directed and starred in a series of short films in the 1980s and 1990s, such as Rosette sort le soir (1983) and Rosette cherche une chambre (1987), often collaborating with Rohmer and actors including Arielle Dombasle and Pascal Greggory. In addition to acting, she has written novels and worked as a producer.
