Biography
Rossana Rory was an Italian actress and model. Born Rossana Coppa in Rome on 7 September 1927, she began her career as a glamour model and in fotoromanzi before making her film debut in 1951. She appeared in supporting roles in Italian productions and briefly pursued opportunities in Hollywood, studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Rory is known for her performances in Big Deal on Madonna Street (1958) as Norma, L'Eclisse (1962) as Anita, Come September (1961) as Anna, and Europa '51 (1952). Her final screen role was in Jessica (1962). She died in Ciampino, Italy, on 1 April 2020.
