Biography
Ruby Hartley is a British actress. She attended Boringdon Primary School in Plymouth and appeared in plays at the Theatre Royal Plymouth and Plymkids Theatre Company as a child. She later performed in productions including Machinal, Hedda Gabler and Rage with the Richard Burton Theatre Company.
Hartley graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2019. From 2020 to 2022 she played Stiorra, the daughter of Uhtred of Bebbanburg, in 16 episodes of the Netflix series The Last Kingdom. It was her first professional screen role. She has since appeared in The Vicar's Wife and the short film Oh Rats (2024).
